If you care about how Norwich Rowing Club runs it is essential that you read the email sent out earlier today and come along to the AGM, to be held at Whitlingham Boat Club, on Wednesday 18th November.  The meeting will begin promptly at 7.30pm but please do join us from 7.00pm beforehand as the kitchen will be open.

There are a host of things to hear about and discuss. The following are key points and should be considered by all attendees in advance of the AGM:

–       Club structure and role appointments

–       Moving to the new boathouse

–       Growth, development and the future

At the AGM if you wish to discuss any particular matters not on the formal agenda then please send any written resolutions, (which should be proposed and seconded) to reach Karen Francis, as club secretary, by 6th November 2015. Please email: karen@nickfrancis.plus.com

Norfolk Sculls on Saturday

A huge good luck to all members racing, for those expecting to train as usual – probably best to go to the pub and watch the rugby instead. Thanks in advance to all marshals, let’s pull together as a club to run an excellent event! Please bring along cakes for donations too.

This serves as a seamless segue into . . .

–       enjoy yourself

–       have your name on/in your wellies as you would be amazed how many ‘green Dunlops’ there are in the club!

–       know what job you’ve been assigned to help the race officials

–       get to your post in plenty of time

–       buy cake!

Club ‘Mix it up!’ Sunday

The first Sunday of the month has come round again.  There has been a request that this day is used to try out mixed crews and I think that this is an excellent idea.

If you are interested in getting involved please let me know.  Unfortunately, as Sunday is the last available session before the Vets Fours Head a number of crews will be completing their final preparations and be unavailable.
